Johann De Lange – Managing Director

Johann is the founder of Intellifin. He gained extensive and varied corporate finance experience after completing his articles and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. His corporate finance exposure included listing companies on the JSE, a private equity fund start-up, capitalising venture capital projects and companies and facilitating acquisition transactions. Johann is an early shareholder in a start-up telecommunications and IT company, where he served as a financial director for three years. During this period he also raised further capital from investors in the United States. Johann established Intellifin in 2003 as a realisation of his ambition to have a business of his own and to again become more directly involved in corporate finance. He is regarded as a specialist in the field of corporate finance as recognised in the invitations received to present lectures throughout South Africa and in South East Asia.
When Johann doesn’t work he pursues various activities including golf, squash and scuba diving. He is an avid reader and keen traveller.
